Studio Production- Robyn Perkins

This is a video showing the talents of our VT presenter Dave Chawner and our warm up act Robyn Perkins.

As Helen Welsh was not able to make the interview for Robyn I was able to find her this video to give an example of Robyn.

Here is another example of her doing stand up comedy.

Studio Production- Workshops with Hans

During the first few workshops with Hans I was asked to be a stand in so that all the camera people can practise on their shots and the directors could practise directing.

I was able to talk to Hans during a few different workshops, we were able to talk about how the script needs to be written and the different parts of my job. He was able to help me know what I needed to write in the briefing notes, running order and work out the seating order.

Professional Practice- Dissertation Proposal Presentation

As part of our classes with Kath she asked us to create a presentation to show our idea for our dissertations.

My feed back for the dissertation proposal was;

  • Look around at cultural theories
  • Does everything involved answer the question
  • 1960's-celebrity killers, anti- hero obsession
  • Enigmatic people
  • Look at the structure, what are you saying in each chapter
  • Psychoanalysis in the horror genre
  • Hybrid genres
