Commissions Unit- BBC 3

The BBC 3 is part of the British Broadcasting Corporation a public service broadcaster, that aims at a younger audience. The flag ship channel being BBC 1 focusing on family entertainment, BBC 2 aiming to create and broadcast "highbrow" programs, BBC 3 with the target audience of 16-34 and BBC 4 is based around factual programming.

As the article explains due the BBC wanting to cut costs they have decided to make the BBC 3 channel only available on line, this may not affect the audience that already spend most of their time on the internet.


While looking for factual programming shown on BBC 3, on iPlayer, it can be seen that most of the programs are Docu-Drama's.

This is a preview to a Documentary lead by a presenter made for BBC 3.
