Commissions Unit- Schedules

http://www.radiotimes.com/tv/tv-listings

While thinking of when to show our documentary on BBC 3, we need to look at the current programs shown by BBC 3 and when and then look at what other programs are shown on other channels that are aimed at the same audience.

The BBC 3 programming is aimed at a younger audience, therefore it needs to be compared to channels such as channel 4 and E4. When looking at the listings on the 3 channels Thursdays is popular on E4 as its their night of new shows. Channel 4 have films Saturday and Sunday and most reality before 10 week days. BBC3 have films friday and saturday, repeats most of the week of programs such as Don't tell the Bride and Doctor Who. Monday at 9pm is the main Documentary slot for this channel. One week being "Don't call me Racist" and the next "Who needs Ibiza?".

These are screen shots of the BBC 3 time slot two weeks in a row at 9pm, both weeks having documentaries instead of Docu-Dramas.
