As part of the brief one of the options is to do the documentary on "my hero", this can depend on what the audience or the film maker thinks a hero is.
Many things can be thought of when someone says "my hero", this includes television shows, characters such as super man or any super hero. Some can think of people they know as heroes, it all depends on the definition of hero to the person.
