Studio Production- Dave audition

Today we had a audition with a potential anchor over Skype. We asked him several questions and talked about different aspects from the show. I wrote notes during our interview as to determine his personality against others;

Graffiti-

• For, it is artistic but has a stigma 
• Increasing aesthetics in run down areas
• If tagging was legal then is less likely as the 'thrill' is taken away

Politics- 

• No political leaning 
• Excited for general election 
• "Not all politics is for everyone" 
• Yes votes because how else will there be change 

Photoshop- 

• It's wrong but the argument does not go far enough as people need to think of society 
• What can we do about it? (society and why people need to be skinny)
• Younger generations need help in society and moving into adult life 

Claire's Law- 

• Not heard of 
• Should people be allowed to move on from their mistakes?
• Vigilantism 

Anchor- 

• Rouges- avoid screaming, not to get angry, impartial and use being nice 
• Talk Back- has experience and is excited
• Experience- Stand up, host events, multi cam and auto cue 

After Monday 9th Auditions I sent this email to Dave for more information as well as to inform him that we are not decided yet on the presenters role. 

Hello,

Sorry for not getting back to you on Friday, I was wondering if you could send me the contact information of the people you mentioned during the interview as I would like to contact them (graffiti and warm up act). We are currently still having interviews for presenters, but we would like you to still send us your sizes. We will be discussing with our tutor the viability of the rehearsals and what we can do to hopefully improve the situation.

To update Dave on Jaime becoming our presenter I sent the following email;

Dear Dave, 

To keep you updated I'm sorry but due to not being able to rehearse with you we have decided to give the role of presenter to someone who is able to make rehearsal days. However this does not mean that we would not like you involved, we would like you to be a VT presenter. Going out on location with a team to produce helpful and informative work, we like your personality and think it could add to the story. 

If you are still interested in being part of the project, please get back to me.
