Digital News- Locations Ideas

Today we were looking at locations we may want to use for some filming. We had the idea of going to Canterbury to film the Vox pops, these will be where we ask people in relation to our first story about the Apple products and privacy.

We also decided to look into filming in Maidstone Fremlin Walk, as it was to late for me to call the contact line I decided to use there "submit a message" form on the website, this is where I entered some information and the following message;

"To whom it may concern,
We would like to contact you for information about if we were to film on your premisses, we are university students that are creating a news channel and would like some images of shops and a busy built up area.
With Kind Regards
Roxanne Meats"

On our filming during the 10th October we will be in Canterbury in which we will be asking people questions from the script. While looking into locations we may want to use I google Canterbury shopping and looked at the maps.

During the filming we will be wearing our university ID's as to show that we are professionals and not just a random crew with no ID's and therefore no information for the public to look us up on. I feel like with the ID we may be more trusted by those we would like to interview.
