Fiction adaptation - Tutorial

Today was the tutorial day for our essays, I found that I need to start my research big in terms of adaptation and that I also do need to look into the genre of the detective style in which programs and created for. To look at the style of genres is to see how they are set up and their conventions, as how they start, how the story carrys on and how the case is solved.
I have decided to do more general research on Poirot including when it was aired, the first episode 08/01/1989, and the last 13/11/2013. This gives the time period of the series of 25 years all the cases that were written by Agatha Christie have been adapted for television, the first episode was not the first Poirot novel but one of the short stories by Agatha Christie. It was originally published in 1923 for newspapers.

The mysterious affair at styles is a "flash back" episode written in 1920 and adapted for television in 1990, the first and this episode is related in the way Poirot is introduced, dramatised by Clive Exton he dramatised 20 episodes of Poirot.
